The CCNP Course - Switch (Cisco Certified Network Professional - SWITCH) prepares the participant to obtain approval Exam # 642-813, enabling him to implement networks of Cisco Systems ™ medium and large. The CCNP is the third level of the pyramid of certifications at Cisco. This module: SWITCH is 100% focused environment for LAN networks of medium and high complexity.
This course is designed to meet the professionals who seek success in Cisco CCNP certification, network administrators, partners and retail outlets Cisco, support analysts, university students in the areas of telecommunications.
Have already obtained the CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
I. Implementation of VLANs
- Determine the network resources required for implementation of VLANs.
- Create a Plan of Implementation of VLANs.
- Create a Plan Check VLANs.
- Set switch to switch connectivity.
- Setting up mechanisms for the Prevention of Loop Switches.
- Configure access ports to VLANs.
- Verify that the VLANs solution was implemented correctly.
II. Implementation of security extension features in Layer 2
- Determine the network resources required for implementation of security features in L2.
- Create an Implementation Plan for Security Solution.
- Create a Plan Check Security Solution.
- Configure the mechanism: Port Security.
- Check that the Security Solution is properly implemented.
- Document the results of the Implementation and Verification of Security.
III. Implement services based on Layer 3 Switches
- Determine the network resources needed to implement L3 Switching.
- Create an Implementation Plan for L3 Switches.
- Create a Plan Check L3 Switches.
- Configure interfaces routing switches, including security features.
- Check if the solution is correct.
- Document the results of L3 Switching.
IV. Prepare the environment infrastructure for advanced services.
- Implement Wireless Extension - Layer 2 solution.
- Implement support for VoIP / IP Telephony.
- Implement support for Video.
V. Implementing High Availability (High Availability) - Determine required network resources.
- Create a Plan of Implementation of HA.
- Create a Plan Check HA.
- Implement redundancy protocols.
- Implement Switch supervisors to provide redundancy.
- Document the High Availability HA capabilities.
